Agastache Guava Lava

The Agastache Guava Lava delivers vibrant coral-orange blooms all summer long, attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and heat-loving, this low-maintenance beauty thrives in dry, sunny spots. Add long-lasting color to your garden—grow yours today!

1. Planting: Find a place to plant that receives full sun (at least 6 hours a day). When planting, dig a hole that’s twice the size of the root ball. Place the plant in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Fill in around the roots with loose, well-draining soil, making sure the plant is secure. Agastache thrives in dry, well-drained soils, so ensure the planting area allows excess water to drain freely.

2. Watering: Once established, Agastache is drought-tolerant and should not be overwatered. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.

3. Pruning: Deadhead spent flowers throughout the growing season to prevent seeding and maintain a tidy appearance. In early to mid-spring, cut back any new growth and remove any old stems to encourage fresh, compact growth and more flowers.
